“How does this end? Somebody in Russia has to step up to the plate… and take this guy out,” the senator told conservative Fox News TV host Sean Hannity.
He also repeated the call in a series of tweets on his official twitter page ,saying
“the only people who can fix this are the Russian people.”
“Is there a Brutus in Russia?” asked the senator, referring to one of Roman ruler Julius Caesar’s assassins.
The former presidential candidate also wondered if “a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg” existed in the Russian military, alluding to the German officer whose bomb failed to kill Adolf Hitler in 1944.
“You would be doing your country — and the world — a great service,” he added.
Lindsey Graham, who served in the Congress for 20 years and he is a close ally to the Former President Donald Trump, has condemned the invasion of Russian President and his millitary commanders for invasion of Ukraine and War Crimes against Humanity.
Ukraine says Over 350 civilians has been killed and many are injured since President Putin Invaded Ukraine with Russian Millitary Forces.
Over 1 million people had fled Ukraine, meanwhile Moscow claims its not targeting civilian areas on its strike.
