The Nigerian Government has ignored calls from The US and UN to follow up on the findings of the Lagos State Judiciary EndSars Panel Report.
Lagos State Judiciary Panel has confirmed that at least 9 persons died at the Lekki Tollgate Shootings on the 20th of October 2020, it described the event as ‘Massacre’.
While responding to the Development Nigerian Government through Minister of Information and Couture Lai Mohammed, has described the report as rife with contradiction and errors as well as Fake News.
The Minister added that no one died at Lekki Tollgate on the 20th October 2020, accused the panel if Westing Tax Payers Money by producing false result.
“It is simply incredible that a judicial panel set up to investigate an incident has submitted a report laden with allegations, the same allegations it was set up to investigate in the first instance.
“Instead of sitting for all of one year, the panel could have just compiled social media tales by the moonlight on the incident and submitted, saving taxpayers’ funds and everyone’s time.
“That report is nothing but the triumph of fake news and the intimidation of a silent majority by a vociferous lynch mob,” he said.
