What really happened in Burkina Faso and why Gunshots was heard inside army barracks

Series of gunshots was heard around presidential Palace in Burkina Faso as army riot over demand for the sack of military service chiefs, and more resources to fight militant Islamist.

Hundreds of people had come out to support the troops as they riot, this made the Burkina Faso Authorities to introduce night Time curfew.

The Government had explained that they have controled the crisis, they also dismiss rumors of attempt coup, just after a week they detained 11 Soldiers of attempted Coup.

The people of Burkina Faso has been sad over failure of Roch Kaboré’s Government to stop the Islamic insurgence that has been disturbing the country since 2015.

Protesters in support of the soldiers set a fire near the rulling party Headquarters.

The Gunshots was heard inside the camps of Military in West and South if the Capital and inside the Air Base in the main airport.

Gunshots was also heard in military bases in northern towns of Kaya and Ouahigouya, US embassy says.

The demands of the soldiers includes

  • di dismissal of di army chief of staff and di head of di intelligence service
  • di deployment of more troops to di front line to fight di insurgents
  • better care for wounded sojas, and di families of those wey die for battle.
