Imo State Residents laments as Feul being sold at N400 – N500 per liter

The residents of Imo State has lament over The hike in price of Fuel in the Rural areas, Expecially where there are few or no filling stations.

A source in Orsu Local Government area of Imo State told KINGREPORTER, that they buy fuel from Black market at N400 per liter as there are no mega filling stations to buy from they have no choice.

When asked how about filling station in the area, he responded “the filling stations here is not working and few that is open there liter is not complete” although he could not tell us exactly how much fuel is being is sold in filling station in the area.

Enquiries that we made through Owerre has it that residents are paying N500 to purchase a liter of fuel from Black market in some areas.

The black market sellers has taken advantage of the situation to sell fuel to residents who might be in desperate need of fuel in a none convenient price.

Source from Ihiala Anambra State told us that fuel is still being sold at N170 per liter in the filling stations, while black market sell between N250 – N200 per liter.
