Cardi B, Offset Divorce Battle Heats Up as Rapper Demands Spousal Support and Share of Assets

The divorce between rap power couple Cardi B and Offset is taking a dramatic turn, with new reports revealing the Migos rapper’s demands as part of their separation process.

According to sources close to the case, Cardi B reportedly reached out to Offset, urging him to drop some of his legal demands so they could have a peaceful separation for the sake of their children. However, Offset is said to have flatly refused.

Offset is reportedly seeking spousal support, claiming Cardi B earned significantly more during their marriage and should help maintain his lifestyle post-divorce. In addition, he is requesting ownership of one of Cardi’s houses and is demanding half of her estimated $80 million net worth.

Sources indicate that Offset is framing his position as a call for “gender equality,” arguing that if the roles were reversed, Cardi B would likely seek the same.

Cardi B, on the other hand, has reportedly expressed frustration with Offset’s stance, allegedly saying he is “behaving like a baby mama.”

Fans on social media have been split over the issue. Some argue that Offset is within his legal rights, as spousal support laws exist to protect both men and women, while others feel his demands are excessive given Cardi’s contributions to their household.

Legal experts say this case could become one of the most closely watched celebrity divorces in recent years, particularly for the conversation it is sparking about spousal support, gender roles, and financial fairness in high-profile marriages.

Neither Cardi B nor Offset has made a formal public statement beyond these reported claims, but the unfolding battle is already dominating headlines across entertainment media.
