Again Fire Razes Shops in Idumota Market, Lagos

A fire outbreak at Idumota Market, Lagos, on Monday morning destroyed goods worth millions of naira.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 11 a.m., sending panic through the bustling market. Fortunately, the Lagos State Fire Service responded swiftly, preventing the flames from spreading to other buildings and minimizing the damage.

While the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, some traders speculate that it may have been triggered by an electrical fault or a generator explosion.

Though no casualties have been reported, affected shop owners are counting their losses as investigations into the incident continue.
