We believe that what happened in Imo State may repeat in Anambra State, as All Progressive Congress Party, Candidate, Senator Andy Uba has insisted he will be Governor of Anambra State.
Senator Andy Uba, who came third in the just concluded Anambra Governorship Election, as Charles Soludo former Governor of Central Bank who is an All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, candidate was declared winner of the election, by the independent national electoral commission, INEC.
The APC candidate, Senator Andy Uba, has urged his followers not to panic saying he will become the Governor of Anambra State adding that all means will be used to make sure he become Governor.
The Senator said this while addressing his party stakeholders in Awka Anambra State on Saturday.
“We will do everything possible to recover the mandate. Don’t lose hope; don’t weep.The election was grossly manipulated and it’s obvious to everybody,” he said.
Recall That Governorship Election in Imo State was peaceful in the past general election, afterwards INEC declared Emeka Ihedioha, as the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzordimma who is also an APC candidate came 4th on the Election results.
Hope Uzordimma was later declared Governor of the state as Ihedioha was sacked from the Office by the Supreme court.
