A 48-year-old taxi driver has been killed by an angry mob after he allegedly abducted and assaulted a four-year-old girl he was hired to transport to her preschool. The tragic incident occurred after the child failed to arrive at school on Wednesday morning.
According to reports, the child’s teacher contacted her mother to ask why she had not been brought to class. Shocked by the call, the mother immediately tried to reach the driver, but he could not be found. Upon returning home from work, the parents, joined by neighbors and concerned residents, began searching for the missing child.
Their search led them to the driver’s residence, where he reportedly refused to open the door despite repeated knocks. As tension grew, the crowd forced their way into the house and found the missing child inside in a critical condition.
Witnesses said the mob overpowered the driver and set the house on fire while he was still inside. The man did not survive the incident.
The young girl was rushed to the hospital but was later confirmed dead from her injuries.
