Swearing In of Mary Odili’s Daughter as Abuja high court Judge and Nigerian controversial reactions

The Daughter of Former Rivers State Governor Peter Odili has been sworn in as the Judge of the Federal High court Abuja.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria Honorable Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad sworned in Mrs Iheme Njideka and 20 others as the Judge of the Federal capital Territory high Court on Tuesday 23 November 2021.

Justice Njideka is married to Uzoma Iheme the son of the court if appeals Judge, Justice Chioma Nwosu Iheme.

Although Nigerians didn’t see this as a welcome development, most of the people who commented on the post on Lindaikeji Blog believe that it’s just because her mother is a also a judge.

One of the comments say it’s just partiality that they only made connections between themselves.
