operatives of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) have arrested a man identified as Obi Levi Obieze, also known by the alias Levi Obu Onyeka, at the Gbaji checkpoint along the Badagry-Seme expressway.
According to official reports, Obieze was attempting to flee the country on a motorcycle when he was intercepted by immigration officials.
He had been declared wanted by the Enugu State Police Command in connection with a string of horrifying crimes, including abduction, kidnapping, and ritual killings.
Sources say the suspect’s arrest follows a chilling series of events. Obieze allegedly abducted a young girl and, in a disturbing turn, reportedly threw her into a soakaway pit.
The child’s screams reportedly alerted nearby residents, prompting immediate calls to security agencies.
Upon investigation, authorities discovered decomposing bodies in a pit within the suspect’s compound.
Among the victims was a pregnant woman, whom reports indicate may have been buried alive.
