The speaker of Imo State House of assembly, Mr Paul Emeziem has been impeached by the house members.
The speaker was replaced with Hon. Kennedy Ibe. After 19 out of 27 Lawmakers voted for the impeachment process.
Hon Amara Iwuanyawu,The Deputy speaker of Imo State was earlier impeached November 2, 2021, during plenary session.
Hon. Iwuanyawu has been reinstated as the deputy speaker of the house.
