The fight for Biafran Restoration was real to Ikonso, as he left his business in Senegal to come home and fight to his death.
Nwaokike Kayinayo Andy, nick named “Ikonso”, was based in Senegal as a successful business man, when Nnamdi Kanu was arrested at the first time By Nigerian Government, he called men from Prison to come and protect Biafra Land.
Ikonso was one of the volunteers who left all his business in Senegal and come back home to honor the invitation of the IPOB leader.
To Ikonso, Biafra was days, Maybe weeks, or Months away to get, high hopes kept him going, he was made commander of the Eastern Security Network after IPOB has launched it’s security wing, ESN.
Ikonso became famous in his alleged activities in Igbo land before being hunted and Killed by Nigerian security forces in his hometown .
His death came as a shock to all Biafrans including the Leader of the Indegeneous People Of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
Nnamdi Kanu morned Ikonso in a great way as he renamed Imo State Government house after the Diseased ESN Commander.
Ikonso was accussed of Breaking the Owerri Correctional center and freeing over 300 inmates.
