There was mild drama at the Panti Police Station in Yaba, Lagos, after a young lady reportedly arrived in an Uber from Lekki to file a complaint against the sun.
According to reports, the woman claimed the weather was “too hot” and insisted on filing a case against the sun for making life unbearable. The Uber driver, who transported her to the station, demanded ₦15,000 for the ride, but the lady allegedly refused to pay.

Officers on duty intervened, and one of them reportedly settled the fare to allow the matter to rest. However, the situation took another turn when the woman refused to leave the premises, insisting she wanted to “rent an apartment” inside the police station because it felt safer and cooler.
Eyewitnesses say police officers tried repeatedly to persuade her to return home, but she declined, claiming she felt more comfortable staying at the station.

The unusual incident, which drew attention from onlookers, has gone viral on social media, with many Nigerians reacting with amusement and concern over the woman’s behavior. Authorities have not released an official statement on the matter as of the time of this report.
