The department of state service, DSS, has denied lawyers of Nnamdi Kanu the embatled IPOB leader acess to see him in thier custody.
Alloy Ejimakor counsel to Nnamdi Kanu raised the alarm saying that DSS has denied the Lawers access to see Kanu two times Now.
Ejimakor said they visited Onyendu on Thursday and DSS told them the special Squad that is in charge of him is not around.
Ejimakor Tweeted on his official twitter handle.
“ALERT: Last Thursday, we were not allowed visitation with Onyendu because, according to DSS, the “special squad” incharge of visitations went on “outside assignment”. They asked us to come on Monday (today).
Nnamdi Kanu has been detained in the DSS office in Abuja after he was arrested in Kenya in July 2021.
The IPOB leader is currently facing charges bordering on terrorism before Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court.
