Lagos vows to shutdown schools That do not resume January 4th

The Lagos State Government has vowed to shutdown schools who do not follow it’s directives to resume on January 4th 2022.

The Office of Education Quality Assurance had on 31sth December asked all schools in Lagos state both Private and public schools to resume on 4th January.

According to a statement signed by the Director General, Mrs Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, said the resumption date was the new educational timetable in Lagos state.

Meanwhile some private schools had fixed January 10th as resumption for their schools in Lagos.

In another statement on Saturday Seriki-Ayeni Said Lagos Government is collecting the names of schools who do not comply with January 4th resumption fixed by the state Government.

She said,

“Disciplinary actions will be taken forthwith.”
